Wedding Style

My Approach is to provide an unhurried and friendly style of photography, combining classical imagery, with an underlying reportage style in both monochrome and colour.

I not only create beautiful images, but bring those images together as a coherent narrative.

Obviously I understand that you will still require formal photographs of family, friends and of course the two of you after the ceremony, but the purpose of the coverage is to tell a story of the day, without directing what happens in front of the camera.

The final coffee table album will bring together your day like a creative storyboard.

Weddings genuinely do excite me and you will notice from my photography that I have a passion for capturing images of beautiful happy people. It is lovely to be able to photograph people who are happy and in love and you will certainly find that the images I capture of the two of you will provide wonderful lasting memories of your special day.

The perfect start to the wedding album is the preparation of you on your day, after all, the wedding isn’t just a couple of hours it is literally the whole day, so why not provide a wonderful journey of images to look back on in years to come. I will be with you from the morning of your wedding day right up until the first dance.

Of course all weddings are photographed by me, I do not subcontract work, it is important you know and get on with the photographer. I do occasionally have an assistant working with me, mainly to assist with equipment and to provide me with the occasional bottle of water

Every wedding photographed will be uploaded to the client proofing area of this website, so you have the ability to view and order prints online, sharing your memories with family and friends, of course for those without internet access you have the printed proof booklet which is a key element of the coverage I offer and means no one will miss out!

At this point depending on what options you have selected, you will have the opportunity to choose the most desirable photographs for me to work with in producing your wedding book.

Each book will typically allow for around 40-50 images to be selected, which I’m sure you will agree, offers a great variety and style of images to tell the story of your day

It is really important to meet early on, I like to build a bond with the people I photograph. For a no obligation chat over a coffee and to view the wedding books, please give me a call. I have a studio location in North Suffolk, alternatively providing you’re in the local area a home visit can also be arranged.
